Mission Accomplished: Ramly Burgers Devoured

It was steamboat time on our second night in Cameron, and crazy-ass amount of food awaited us. His parents were great hosts.

We could only finish half the food on the tables [so much food was wasted!] before the guys waved the white flag. Too. many. balls. I hate wasting food but could not eat another mouthful to save my life.

It was gambling time [again]!

Cardgames boggle my mind. The only gambling I can participate is mahjong and the risks in life.

The guys and his aunt played dontknowwhatcardgameitis into the night, with the occasional ramly burger mention which made us yearn for the elusive burger all over again. This with us being full and fat from the steamboat dinner.

YK [the dude in black as above] was the biggest winner of the night and the guys nominated him to treat all of us to The Ramly Burger without his consent. Ha ha. And so, it was a drive out for the search!

The journey to the west ramly burger was hilarious. There is no way I could replicate the convos down in words here.

FINALLY!!! WE HAVE REACHED MORDOR!!! [But where was the stall owner??]

I didn’t know there were so many different types of ramly burgers so I left it to them to order.

Jeng jeng jeng! YUMMY GOODNESS ALL IN A BOX. *CHOMP*

I think this was the part where someone ordered a plate of maggie goreng for the-one-who-gonna-treat-us. WK attempted to butter him up by feeding him.

Our purpose in life has been met. That One Burger was conquered. We were all satiated. We can die happy now.

Guys playing some game to ‘fight’ for the toilet. -__-”

It was an early morning out of the villa the next day to return to KL.

Back in KL, I had another ramly burger to fill my stomach [which was even more delicious than the one in Cameron] and the most awesome nasi lemak I have ever had. And I do not even like rice to begin with.

In Singapore, nasi lemak are usually accompanied by an assortment of stuff, like fried chicken wings, cucumber, fried egg and ikan bilis. That was the norm, or so I thought. Needless to say, I was sufficiently befuddled when greeted by a packet almost as small as a spoon.

It was only rice and sambal, but gosh! The taste of the sambal, the way the rice felt in my mouth, it was almost orgasmic. I WANT MORE.

With that, the trip was concluded.

You should try the ‘famous satay burger’, its a lot better thana ramly and will make you want more…too bad they only appear in festive seasons and special occasions.
