Cameron Highlands!

… where I spoilt my bag,
my pair of shoes,
and my stomach [the last being in a good way, well, sort of].

So the lot of us trooped up to Cameron Highlands for the weekend to create some havoc and to leave the locals scarred for life with our presence.

Some awesome caramel custard thingie which everyone should try in their lifetime.

Him: Do you guys have any idea why the beansprouts are so big and fat in Cameron?
Them: Errr…
Him: It’s the calcium, I’d tell ya! All the calcium from all the rocks and hills to the soil.
Them: …….
*crows fly past*

There was another lame joke somewhere with this picture. Something about EK asking, “Eh, why did they [the flies] fly so high?” I can’t remember his answer now though; it was too lame for my brain to retain.

Flowers in Cameron were huge and vividly colourful.

How do these grow like that??

See what I meant by ‘huge’?

EK fascinated with the sunflower.

As pure as it can go.

Halway up to our villa, we dropped by the farm for…..

My favourite fruit! Rows and rows of delectable fresh strawberries, waiting to be chomped on… by me!

Homaigod, I was in strawberry heaven.

Silly EK was walking behind me when he stepped into a puddle of muddy murky water, causing him to shout out in disgust. On the way out to wash his feet, he stole a couple of strawberries and quietly stuffed them into his mouth when the people weren’t looking. Tsk tsk. VENGEFUL.

YK deep in earnest concentration to find the biggest strawberry to cut.

A short drive later, we reached our place!

We puttered around the house for a bit before settling down and eating [again]. The whole trip was about eating. No, wait, the entire trip centered around having one. particular. food.

The ramly burger.

Stay tuned for our tireless quest for the ultimate ramly burger… [to be continued]
