In search of the Holy Grail Donut.
No Krispy Kreme where I was, so I had to go for Dunkin’ Donuts. Still yummy though.
Rows and rows of yummyness.
Sweet stuff which I love.
Young guy serving us: Yes?
Colleague [calmly]: One each please.
Young guy [uncomprehending look]: Huh?
Colleague: One each.
Young guy [looking blur still]: Huh?
Colleague: Huh?
Me [blurry now]: Huh?
[Ed: It was becoming like the videos that MB put up.]
Me: We want one of each of these donuts.
Young guy: *stared blankly, frowned and turned to supervisor for help* *conversed in some language for a while*
Supervisor [smiling]: Hi, how may I help you?
Colleague: We want one of each of the donuts here.
Supervisor [stunned look]: Huh?
Colleague: What?!!
Supervisor: How many do you want?
Me: *feeling as though on rewind repeat mode* Just one of each!!
Supervisor: *looked at us as if we were out of our minds*
And they continued trying to not look at us as if we were mad while packing the 32 donuts for us. Ahem.
